1 of 5 Name Registration January 31, 2018

Just an FYI, LPI is open to changing your name to just an initial but the other venders like Pearsonvue are not.  There needs to be more communication between companies.  I am transgender, I have a "male" name legally but I live as a woman for 18 months before i can have surgery which means I use a "female" name.  My solution is to put my first initial in the name field.  Well, Pearsonvue refuses to refund my money or adjust for the exception allowing re-take.  So, here forward, i will not take any LPI or Pearsonvue connected certification exams.  I will ONLY test where I can pay cash because people want to disregard the needs of the transgender community and name display.

3 of 5 too many accounts January 14, 2018

confusing process between pearson & lpi.
is lpimarketplace lpi or pearsonvue?

listing says "delivery in 3-4 hrs" didnt get until following business day, so not automated. wouldnt have contacted support if said "during business days"

1) had to register to purchase voucher
2) before i could register for the test, had to create an lpi acct (didnt i do that by purchasing voucher? why wasnt the needed lpi # generated initially?)
3) had to register w/pearsonvue to take test. why cant lpi & pearsonvue share this info & lessen the steps?

after that, taking the test was pretty straight forward.  i show up, sign in, take the test & done.

when i receive emails from pearsonvue, it fails email auth:
dmarc=fail (p=none dis=none)
spf=fail

spf has salesforce ips & volusion smtp, but not pearson.com - worst of all, the "sending ip" is a private iP: 172.21.4.171. one would figure since it's offering testing facilities for "advanced" things like linux, they'd keep this stuff in check.

3 of 5 Voucher purchase had hiccups November 8, 2017
Reviewer: Jon Rollins from Denver, CO United States
I purchased a voucher but never got the voucher code. Got Emails about everything else, including receipt and account info, but not that voucher code. Support folks told me it was Emailed to my account twice but I never got it. Eventually, they just told me what the code was, so I could register for my exam. All good now, but I'm worried it may happen again.
